NHS England has issued a cold weather alert for the next seven days, warning the public that services could be disrupted and asking vulnerable patients to take extra care.
There is a 70% probability of severe cold weather/icy conditions between 1800 on Monday and 0700 on Sunday in parts of England. This weather could increase the health risks to vulnerable patients and disrupt the delivery of services.
This weekend - 30-31 August - sees a host of cycling events in Ipswich to help you get active as part of Ipswich Cycling Weekend, followed by National Cycle to Work Day on 4 September.
