The campaign launch coincides with next week’s start of COVID-19 vaccination clinics specifically for young people aged 12 – 15, and the continued push for those eligible for a booster vaccination or a 1st or 2nd dose to take up the offer.
Ashley Moore and Natasha Jones, who both work locally for the vaccination programme, have each choreographed and performed their own #NHS grooves which you can watch at:

It is hoped these TikTok videos will encourage people to ignore the many dubious sources of COVID-19 information and instead, if they have any questions or concerns, they will speak to an NHS health professional, visit the trusted www.sneevaccine.org.uk website or call the local helpline on 0344 257 396.
From Monday October 25 a series of COVID-19 vaccination clinics for young people aged 12 – 15 years will begin operating at locations across Suffolk and north east Essex.
This is in addition to the many clinics already taking place for those eligible for a booster vaccination and those seeking a 1st or 2nd dose.

Simon Morgan, associate director of communications for the Suffolk and north east Essex clinical commissioning groups, said: “There is much misinformation on social media which is deterring people from getting jabbed to best protect their health.
“We’ve launched our campaign on TikTok to coincide with next week’s half-term walk-in clinics for young people.
“We want them to know how important the vaccination is for protecting their own health and the health of their family and friends.”
