It exists to serve patients, give confidence to the public, support clinicians and is accountable to NHS England.
Chief Operating Officer
Maddie Baker-Woods is the Chief Operating Officer for NHS Ipswich and East Suffolk CCG.
Maddie joined NHS Suffolk in 2009 as Head of Corporate Policy and subsequently as Deputy Director of Primary Care before taking up the position of Chief Operating Officer for the CCG in April 2013.
Prior to joining the NHS, Maddie spent ten years working with business and Government on welfare reform as Director of the London Employers Coalition and Director of Policy for the National Employment Panel. Prior to this, Maddie was Associate Director for Economic Development of an international consultancy firm.
The Governing Body meets every two months in public. All meetings are on a Tuesday.
