I am delighted to be the lead GP for the Mental Health workstream for the CCG.
Overall our aim is to move to commissioning mental health services which are able to intervene early on when people start to have problems, help them recover quickly and widen the scope of currently rather traditional services. This is not going to happen overnight but we are making a start by focusing on specific projects.
