For the first part of the event we were asking for your views and reflection on the collaborative project that took place last year - #averydifferentconversation, where patients, families, carers, professionals and communities came together to find out how they could improve the mental health and emotional wellbeing of the people across east and west Suffolk. At our patient conference was a panel of experts who were interviewed key questions to draw out what worked for them and what didn’t, and why it made a difference. Following this were table discussions to feed back.
The second part of the event we talked about Social Prescribing and what this means for you and your communities. We wanted to know YOUR thoughts and ideas on how we can work together to make the most of social prescribing in Suffolk.
Lots of service users and representatives came on the day to share their views and suggestions on both of these important pieces of work.
Since the event took place in July, this valuable feedback has been taken on board and fed into the Mental Health Strategy and Social Prescribing work.
Please find below an update on what’s been going on with Social Prescribing in Suffolk.
