The CCG was again at the Suffolk Show in 2016 alongside our colleagues from Suffolk County Council where we launched our new campaign: How to manage your conditions and help the NHS. As part of the launch we held a competition asking the question: "How much did the Ipswich and East Suffolk CCG spend on prescribing painkillers in 2015/16 that could have been purchased over the counter?"  There were three options: A: £765,770  B: £801,227  C: £848,065
The correct answer is: C: £848,065.

NHS Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has published its annual report and accounts for 2015/16.
This third annual report demonstrates the performance of the CCG over the last twelve months. It sets out the achievements and where the CCG has seen improvements in the health services provided.
The report is in three sections: a performance report, an accountability report and the financial statement and notes.
The CCG is the clinician-led organisation which, since 1 April 2013, has been responsible for buying-in and managing most local healthcare services for the population of Ipswich and east Suffolk.

Syrian Refugees - 02 March 2016
